- Background: Born in Singapore and raised in Osaka.
- Education:
- Graduated from Osaka University, Faculty of Foreign Studies, majoring in Chinese.
- Completed studies at Morinomiya Medical College, Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion.
- Earned a Master’s degree in Chinese Health and Humanity from University College London (UCL).
- Certifications:
- Licensed Acupuncturist
- Completed the Advanced Course in Thai Traditional Massage. Trained in Tok Sen (wooden mallet therapy).
- Member of the Japan Pediatric Acupuncture Association.
Professional Journey
After obtaining acupuncture licensure, gained experience as an apprentice at a long-established acupuncture clinic, pursued further studies in the UK, worked in a child psychiatry clinic, and served as a community revitalization volunteer in Tamba-Sasayama City.
Currently operates Kobe Kitano Acupuncture Clinic, providing specialized care in acupuncture and traditional therapies.
