以下のテーマで動画を投稿していく予定です。
“Behind the Scenes of Japanese Acupuncture” 金銀針や小児はり、お灸などの日本の鍼灸技術の裏側を紹介しています。 Our mission is to establish Japanese acupuncture and moxibustion as a global medical practice by 2050. We regard gold and silver needles—widely used in Japan as early as the 17th century—as effective interfaces for modulating the body’s neuroplasticity. Contrary to the common perception of acupuncture as mere “stimulation therapy,” we present needling as an artistic act of sewing into the body’s living fibers. When moxibustion—infrared radiation by the fine plant hairs of mugwort—is understood as a thermal press capable of recalibrating the body’s mechanical balance, the delicate manipulations with soft and adhesive gold and silver needles, engineered with 0.01 mm precision, reveal their potential to reweave the architecture of the human body. Needles and irons for maintenance of clothing have long been taken for granted—why not regard acupuncture needles and moxa as instruments for mending the body?
